Funding
Occupational stress is an important cause of long-term sick leave and early retirement. In June 2016, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research published the German framework programme "Research for a healthier life" to promote research collaborations researching topics related to occupational health and safety, and a health-promoting work environment. Both gender- and life-course specific aspects are considered.
